There are various ecpvillages around the world but did you know, there’s one right here in California? It’s only two miles from downtown LA!  Nicholas Whitaker had the chance to go to this ecovillage and make a video on it. Here is the link to it:

A couple of brothers in Africa have started their own band! These brothers are only little kids too.  Aviwe is the oldest and is ten years old and Fuzile is eight years old. They called their band “Thandabantu” the Xhosa word means “the one who loves people.” They boys and their mother constructed their own instrument for the band. It consits of  two buckets, four sticks, a piece of leather, some wire, and alot of bottle caps! The boys used this instrument to make music in the streets of their home in Cape Town. With the instrument and the help of some kind people, they raised up enough money and bought a real instrument. They were able to buy a Keyboard! The band now consists of the “drums” the keyboard and the boy’s voices. They keep on making money and they use the money for school to pay for their ride and food. These boys are a great inspiration and the funny thing is they can’t read a note!

Are you ever eating diner, lunch, or breakfast and notice that your food’s gotten cold?  Well now a group of people are trying to invent plates that keep your food warm while you eat. You can also cook meals on these plates. The bad thing is that you would have cables and chords in your way during meals and that would be really bothersome. Another bad thing is that you would still need to wash these, chords and everthing attached. These plates can be helpful yet harmful. But oh well, its still just a concept.
